My Thoughts:

Run, don't walk to buy this next installment in the series. I absolutely adore that we get to find out what happens to Hatch and not just find out but experience his story firsthand. Ya'll I fell in love with these books as soon as I started the first one and am still enthralled. I am loving the environment, especially as we get to go to an island in this book. The techy sci fi elements are beyond cool and are taken up a whole level in this book. I was with a character I loved and got to meet some new characters whom I also adored. There were three ladies who in particular had me in stitches. I want more, more, more. As soon as I was done, I wanted to start over and reread the book.

I think one of the best things about Megan's books, and I have said it every time is the faith content. The relationship the characters have and develop with Alpha is so inspiring and on point every time. The way she writes characters draws me in and I immediately want to know everything about them. I care about the characters which for me is really important. We get both points of view from the two main characters which is always a bonus to me.

I loved that another friend of the main group made an appearance. I'm hoping maybe we get his story in the future, because I think that would be hilariously fun escapade. I am a feelings gal, so when a book can make me feel all the emotions and instills a desire to spend time with the Lord, it is top tier. This book had all of that. Absolutely loved it!

After reading this third book, I'm thinking it's time to go back and read all three again.

Hands down another five-star read.

Quote Time:

"I am a coward. I am a broken coward. I am a broken coward with nothing to offer but a pathetic tale and-

Do not talk about my child like that. Alpha's reprimand silences my destructive thoughts but it doesn't quash my anger."

This quote resonated with me so much. It was a reminder that I am so much harder on myself than God is. I often forget to focus on the truth of who He created me to be and who I am as His daughter and instead focus on the worldly lies the enemy tries to feed me about how I will never be good enough, and of course I can't do this I'm to weak and broken. Which yes is true I for sure need the Lord to help me do anything worthy of Him, and without Jesus I definitely am not good enough. However, I am a new creation in Christ, and that is where my focus needs to remain, on Him. He loves me and I am His daughter.

I just love these books so much and can't wait for the next book Megan writes.

I want to thank the author and publisher for a copy of this book to read without any expectation of a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
